Now I do have to admit that I am a bit prone to wild swings of excitement and emotions. I, for example get excited very easily when something goes my way even if the something isn't final or guaranteed much less certain or actually concluded in my favor.

I'll admit it! I can't help it and I don't know that I would want to be any other way even if I could help it or change.

In fact I often tell my husband (I'm not sure if I'm joking or not) that he wouldn't want me any other way either.

That the wild swings in my mood my emotions my whatever keeps things exciting for him. He of course says that these swings are not exactly the type of excitement that he requires or desires (hey that rhymed I'm so excited!).

My proclamations of never again when he doesn't share my excitement also have become fodder for his jokes(he thinks he's funny). Well I have been thinking (uh oh) is this a common male /female dynamic or is this peculiar to me or perhaps a sexually neutral phenomenon of people like me.(there are people like me right?)

Please feel free to tell me your thoughts am I truly a unique roller coaster whipping my way through life as my husband plods along never too high rarely very low? (he says that I set myself up for disappointment and I say he's too freakin' negative and sometimes accuse him of being unsupportive).

Or Am I just a woman who like most other women is wired that way? Either way I think that as a couple you can flourish despite these differences (and others) if you know how to deal with, no enjoy these unique personality traits.
