Porch swings hold an allure and a fascinating place in most of our lives. Chances are you probably have memories of at least some time spent somewhere with someone on a porch swing. I know I sure do. These tend to be ultra stable, require little to no maintenance, and are reasonably priced. The color is molded right in so you don't have to worry about chips, painting, or rust. You give up the natural feel that wood gives, but for many this is exactly what they want. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy! Just buy it, hang it, use it, and forget about it.

Fortunately, there are porch swings for every taste. It really doesn't matter what other people think of the one you prefer. As long as you, or the person you are buying for, are happy with it. That's what matters most. Try a few out and see what you like. Take your lucky gift recipient with you. You might be surprised at what you finally settle on.
