Women's bodies tend to be warmer, so women can get away with a lower tog rating. 2. Do you share a bed? Body heat generated by a second person adds to the warmth factor, so you may not need as high a tog rating. 3. Do you have a warm or cold bedroom? If your room tends to be on the fresh side, you may need to up the tog rating on your duvet to keep yourself snug. Winter Duvet Options • 13.5 tog is the most suitable duvet for the European climate providing warmth and snugness.
