Ok, when we were kids, the terms PC or Home Computer or even Laptop where not words yet. A computer in the home? The thought of that was absurd. The computers would never fit. They were huge. Now a day the retirees are more and more become internet surfers. They are finding out that they can surf, buy, read the new and many other things on the internet. Many major grocery chains even have at home delivery. One can simply order online their food and have it delivered to their front door. By learning the internet from a young person you may have some hard times understanding their terminology. Take time and enroll in a class. They are there and better to help you with your learning. Many youngsters get impatient with older people, they don't understand that it's like a fish out of water to many. Don't hesitate to surf the internet and read all your "HELP" categories with your programs you purchase for your computer. If you bought a Word program for typing, or maybe you are writing a book, read the help and don't be afraid of making errors. It happens to the best of us. The books at books stores are vast on intro to computers and if you want a book that is an aid for you the series of "FOR DUMMIES" books are the best. The will point you in the right direction and foremost and the most important thing, don't hesitate to ask the people at the book store some questions too.
