Rugs are great for adding colour texture and style to a room. They make wooden floors warmer and stone floors more comfortable and are great over carpets to add a touch of luxury. There are loads of different rugs to choose from so we've put this guide together to help you pick the right rug for your home.
• Wool Rugs
• Sheepskin Rugs
• Synthetic Rugs
• Door Mats
• Anti Slip Backing
• Care

Wool Rugs
• Many wool rugs are hand tufted which means they are made completely by hand. Craftsmen individually thread strands of wool through a canvas. A backing fabric is then attached to keep the strands in place
• Wool rugs tend to be hard wearing and therefore offer great value for money
• The pile of a wool rug is soft and luxurious

Sheepskin Rugs
• Sheepskin rugs are available in single or double sizes
• Sheepskins are joined together to create a larger rug
• Sheepskins can successfully be dyed so rugs are available in various different colours

Synthetic Rugs
• Synthetic rugs are durable and hardwearing
• Synthetic rugs are easy to care for and can be sponged or vacuumed
• A Synthentic rug provides economical floor covering with a vast range of colours and designs to choose from

Door Mats
• Door mats are designed for keeping carpets and other floor coverings clean especially from dirty shoes or Wellington boots
• Rubber doormats with deep grooves are designed for removing the mud from your wellies so they are ideal for outside the back door
• Carpet mats with rubber backing stay in position and do not slip on the floor
• Coir mats are ideal for cleaning your shoes when you enter the house. Coir is made from the husk of the coconut shell and is incredibly hardwearing

Anti Slip Backing
• It is vital to use anti slip backing if you are using rug on a smooth floor covering such as wood or linoleum
• You can buy various different sizes but the felt like backing can easily be cut to any size
• Our anti slip backing is 100% guaranteed to stop a rug from slipping

Care
• We recommend that all rugs are cared for according to their individual care instructions found on the packaging or on the reverse of the rug it's self
• Cylinder vacuum cleaners are better to care for rugs as upright cleaners may cause damage to the pile
• Be as gentle as possible when vacuuming a rug using the tools rather than the main vacuum it's self
• Stains should be removed by dabbing not rubbing and only ever use cold water
• Wool rugs normally need to be professionally cleaned; you should check individual care instructions carefully
