A backwards theme party can be just the unusual party theme that will make your party excellent. You may be hosting a graduation party, a birthday party or a retirement party, for example. For any occasion a backwards theme party works really well. Your budget may well be quite low with his kind of party if you keep control of the costs of food, drinks, venue and entertainment. You may be inviting some puzzle fans in which case the party invitations could be in the form of a jigsaw puzzle with a backward written invitation on it. Solve the puzzle and come to the party. The guests can choose a variety of ways of getting in to costume. They can wear all their clothing backwards. They can also comb their hair backwards and wear fake backward tattoos. There are lots of options for costumes. The food can be served backwards. You can start with dessert, then the main course and finish with the starters. This can be fun for all guests, just to be different. The music can start with the slow finishing tunes, move on to the main party music and finish with the DJ's favorite opening music. All the decorations and party set up can be backward. All banners and signs can be backwards. Pictures can be turned to face the wall, chairs facing the wrong way and guests could eat under the table.
