Choosing fridges by the price tag is easy, but there are a great many other things to consider before you can choose one that really suits your lifestyle and preferences. It is easy to go out and buy a fridge simply by choosing what you can afford to pay for it, but it is much better to consider a few features ' and your lifestyle - first. For those who are renting and likely to move fairly often, then it may be a good idea to get fridges with reversible doors in case the space and kitchen area are different in their next place. Fridges with lots of freezer space are always very popular, but would you prefer the freezer section to be on the top or the bottom? Since the freezer is not opened nearly as much, some people prefer the bottom which means they are not bending over so much. And for those who like to keep lots of frozen goods on hand, the actual size of the freezer will be a consideration. Easy cleaning is an important feature, but it might depend on personal preference whether you get a fridge with solid shelves that will catch spills, or wire rack shelfs. Fridges with solid shelves are better for those who store lots of small things like bottles, which tend to fall over on wire racks. Finally think about whether a fridge with no frost might be a better and easier option. While uncovered food will tend to dehydrate, most people stick a lid on their leftovers anyway. And not having to spend an entire day defrosting the fridge sounds really great. So next time you go to look at fridges, remember there is more to consider than the price.
