If you are moving out, you may be worried about the huge amount of cleaning you need to do. As it is, any kind of moving out is stressful because of the need to transfer all the personal belongings and other items to another house. This nerve racking job can become easier if you have a proper plan in place. This article will help you prepare your house for the move out inspection. Unless you are not concerned about your security deposit, you may have to work hard to remove all the signs of your stay there.

Before moving out, check up the list of all the damages that need to be covered by you. You do not want hefty cleaning or damage fees charged to you or cut off from your fixed deposit. Start with the walls. This is one area most people use prominently for decorative purposes. Remove all the nails you have stuck into the walls and fill the holes with a dryer or toothpaste (if the hole is tiny). In case, the walls have marks or colors by your toddlers, use magic erasers and remove them all. Sometimes furniture items like recliners make marks on the wall due to the continued use of wall support. You may even have to prime and paint some really tough stains.

Clean the sinks in the kitchen. Use, warm water with detergent and use it to scrub the grime in the refrigerator. You could also clean the shelves and drawers by hand. Wipe all the shelves and compartments dry before placing them back into the refrigerator. Next, use oven cleaners to clean the oven completely. This may require some safety precautions, so read the instructions on the manual. Finally, wipe down all the surfaces.

Check all the lighting fixtures. Clean those that are dusty. Make sure all the bulbs are working. Also wipe down the exterior surfaces of all closets, appliances like dishwasher, oven, refrigerator and air conditioner. Once the cleaning of all the appliances and closets has been done, start cleaning the floor. Sweep and then mop it. If you are really conscientious, move all the heavy appliances and remove all the dirt from the area. Scrub away the dried grime that must have collected on the hidden areas of the floor.

Clean all the sinks, tubs, toilets and showers in the bathroom. All fixtures should be wiped down too. The mirrors and light fixtures must be cleaned. Sweep and mop the floor of the bathroom. For all carpeted areas, vacuum rigorously. Areas where sofa sets and other heavy furniture were placed may be particularly dirty if you never bothered to shift them while vacuuming earlier. Also, clean any air conditioning system, fan blades and window panes.
