Hedges, shrubs and flowers form their own category and can redefine the way your garden looks. They are essential to make any garden look amazing and are usually the main factor that differentiates one garden from another. Thus to have a unique looking garden that is beautiful and natural, hedges, shrubs and flowers have to be an integral part of your garden design. Hedges are like a natural fence. These have been gaining popularity over the years where people want to retain the natural look of their garden and do not want to get too artificial. Hedges also create an excellent ecosystem that provides a shelter to many useful insects for the proper growth of your garden. They can help the soil be enriched, directly and indirectly, and thus plants grown with the hedges usually tend to be healthier than their counterparts grown in iron fences. Like other plants, hedges also need care, and thus you will have to spend time taking care of them, unlike fences, so be aware of this. You should trim them from time to time. This will not only give them proper shape but also will help your hedge to grow faster and healthier. Flowers are one of the most beautiful elements of the garden. You can have variety of flowering plants that bloom at different times of the year. Owing to this, your garden will be always full of colours. You should understand the nature of the flowers before putting them in your garden. Flowers usually require more care and attention, so you will need to do some extra work maintaining them, but of course the labour is worth the effort in terms of the most beautiful and colourful nature produced in your garden. You need to make sure you know the height your plants may grow up to, colours of them and time they will bloom. It is quite important in order to give your garden a proper look and harmony. It will also help you to plant the flowers according to their height as they would not cover one another hiding them from your sight. Shrubs are like a long term investment in your garden. They can be evergreen and thus be a stable and continuous decor element of your garden. Apart from their beauty, they can be quite utilitarian too. Evergreen shrubs are quite popular and provide a nice look to your garden while the other plants have faded and are hardly visible. Shrubs can be initially grown in containers and later transferred to the garden, but this is not essential. Remember about shrubs when planning your garden. You will need to prepare some more space for them as they will grow and get bigger and bigger throughout the years. Hedges, flowers and shrubs have their own meaning in the garden and thus are central to any garden design. They provide a good deal of variety and can change throughout the year, so that your garden is not monotonous to look at. They are also the reason to enjoy the beauty of your garden.
