When remodeling a house, most people forget entirely about the bathroom. It is the one place in the house that gets overlooked. So, chances are that you have spent all your money on the rest of your house while your bathroom sits there in disrepair. The great thing about the bathroom is that you can change one thing and it looks completely redone. Here is a short list of things you can change to give it a fresher look.

Paint: Pick a bright, vibrant color or a soothing, calm color. Whichever you choose, it will definitely revamp the W.C. Accent walls are great in bathrooms; they create the illusion of a larger space. If you'd rather leave the wall color, think about painting the cupboards.

Add Mirrors: You can find a mirror for any décor—whether traditional or modern. Just like having an accent wall, a large mirror will make the room seem larger than it really is.

New Shower Curtain: If you can find a shower curtain that will go with your current décor, your bathroom will look extremely put together—very cohesive.

Window Treatments: Update these bad boys! Get new curtains or blinds. If you want to add a little spunk, get creative—make it original.

Plants: Add some house plants. These can be real or fake; it doesn't really matter. Just make sure to dust them regularly, otherwise your bathroom's ambiance will diminish quite a bit.

Toilet: Yep, a new toilet can really add some quality to your bathroom. Whether you decide to buy Toto toilet s or more traditional ones, you will not regret it.

New Tile: Either in the shower or on the floor, this will be an amazing face lift for your bathroom.
