Corner Showers Are Great For Small Spaces |

Corner showers can be a great space saving choice in smaller
bathrooms. The variety that is available
can get as small as thirty inches. There
are some larger, fancy models that can be a fun addition in a bathroom suite
with a separate tub. Which ever
direction you are going, a corner shower can be the best way to go.
A few months back, we faced a mold problem in our existing guest bathroom. It required everything be stripped out of the room down to the studs. This is when we discovered that the tub/shower was actually built into the room. When we went to replace the fixture, it was either cut a hole in the wall to bring in a new tub/shower or else go a different route. We chose to go with a corner shower. The corner shower was easy to get into the space - we just turned it sideways and carried it into the room. We chose to just get the corner shower base and to create the walls ourselves using ceramic tiles. It was also surprisingly easy to install, although we hired a plumber to do the heavy pipe work. The new corner shower opened up the room and made it look and feel twice as big. The little corner shower is perfect for the guest space. The experience with it was so pleasant that I'm now considering another corner shower in our master bath. This time I want to go overboard and get one of the corner showers that have multiple shower heads and doubles as a steam bath. It may be a while before I see that dream come to pass. If you need a creative way to open up a small bathroom space, a corner shower could be the answer. There are many to choose from, but most of them are quick and easy to install.
