Why would you want an air-conditioner? Air conditioners are one of the most efficient ways to cool your home in the summer. They provide a refreshing blast of cool air that does not just depend on the breeze blowing on your wet skin for cooling. They actually do cool the air down. They also clean it. Many allergenic particles can be removed from the air by the filter. This means that those who suffer from asthma may find life a whole lot easier. It's not only asthmatics that can get relief, though. People who suffer from hayfever go through the misery of constantly sneezing and dripping for days on end when the weather brings in their particular allergen. But some people are allergic to sudden changes of temperature and also to humidity. If you've ever had a sneezing fit the moment you jump out of bed on a cool morning you are allergic to sudden body temperature change. If you find that you can suddenly breathe more easily after you turn on the car's air-conditioner, you are allergic to humidity. Having an air-conditioner can fix both these problems, as the air conditioner takes moisture out of the room and will provide an even, controlled temperature in your home. And if you've had trouble with mould growing on your leather shoes and handbags - or on the leather sofa, then an air-conditioner is certainly just what you need to cure that problem.
