When the temperature of the body is high, whether from the effects of the sun or from the results of illness, it is necessary to take regular drinks in order to prevent dehydration. Sugar is not normally a desirable part of a healthy diet, nevertheless it has its part to play with lemon, and although there is no doubt that the addition of honey if available is very much to be preferred. Citronella is known for its calming effect that relieves insomnia or stress. It is also considered as a mild insect repellant. But more than scent, tangled or lemon grass provides a lot of health benefits. Studies have shown that the lemon grass has antibacterial and antifungal properties. Mixed with pepper, it's a home therapy for menstrual troubles and nausea. Drank as tea, it is an effective diuretic. When it comes to pets, citronella is used to neutralize excessive barking of dogs. Since dogs hate citronella, it is sprayed to dogs to prevent them from barking or just to lessen the behavior. The lemon balm herbal remedy can also be used to prepare a compress, a hot tea infusion, tincture, ointment, or infused oil. A lemon balm tea can be used to relieve the symptoms of indigestion, nausea, nervous exhaustion, and depression. A compress can help with painful swelling or gout. Lastly, by diluting lemon balm essential oil with almond or olive oil, you can rub it into your body for the relief of tension or chest pain. Lemonade, a well known refreshing drink is most beneficial when prepared with freshly squeezed lemon, mixed with clean, fresh water and no sweeteners. Lemon juice can also be added to other natural juices to improve or change the taste and add vitamin C and potassium. To me, the most refreshing way to drink lemonade is with mineral water. The author of The Blood Type Diet, actually recommends carbonated water for people with blood type O. In my experience, lemon with mineral water doesn't even need ice to be truly refreshing. Besides, room temperature or warm to hot liquids quench one's thirst much faster because they are readily absorbed unlike iced drinks that have to be heated up in a stomach first. The lemon juice diet is basically a short fasting method in which the poisons in the body can be flushed out with lemon cayenne pepper cleaning and lemon juice to lose weight. The recommended time limit for the fasting is 10 days. During this time, the user drinks sea salt water in the morning to help get the bowel moving. This is followed by the lemon juice mixture during the day and then a laxative tea at night. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
