HGH ( HUMAN GROWTH HORMONE )

Human growth hormone (hGH) is a polypeptide hormone made in the anterior pituitary gland (the pituitary gland is the master gland, located in the center of the brain) that stimulates the release of another hormone called somatomedin by the liver, promoting growth in humans. It controls muscle and bone growth and lowers the amount of fat in the body. HGH is the primary hormone responsible for growth in humans and it helps regulate metabolism. Growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) and ghrelin (a hormone produced by the stomach) stimulate HGH release. Insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1) is produced by the liver in response to HGH. Most of the growth promoting effects of growth hormone are due to the action of IGF-1. Human Growth Hormone is released primarily during slow wave sleep and in response to exercise. Many factors lead to variations in the amount of growth hormone released including levels of glucose, fatty acids level, levels of various neurotransmitters, hormones and amino acids.

HGH is not an anabolic steroid, but a peptide-based (protein) hormone that is much more closely related in structure to compounds like insulin than steroids. Growth hormone is a naturally occurring hormone secreted by the anterior pituitary gland in the brain. It is essential for growth. It is highest in growing children and then gradually declines with age. In adults, growth hormone helps maintain tissue strength and vitality. As hormones decline, the body becomes frail and weak. This is when the degenerative diseases of aging begin to show up. Hormone deficiencies then result in what is considered accelerated aging. GH has been called a master hormone and the "fountain" of youth because of its effects on combating the overall decline in health that accompanies aging. Many clinics that specialize in longevity regularly prescribe HGH as a way for people to regain their youth and health effects.

HGH is a very complex hormone which consists of 191 amino acids. HGH is the largest protein created by the pituitary gland. HGH causes growth and repair of body tissues including the muscles, the skin, and the kidneys, brain function, healing, physical and mental health, bone strength, energy and metabolism. HGH is the ultimate anti-aging therapy. It affects almost every cell in the body, rejuvenating the skin and bones, regenerating the heart, liver, lungs, and kidneys, bringing organ and tissue function back to youthful levels. It is an anti-disease medicine that revitalizes the immune system, lowers the risk factors for heart attack and stroke, improves oxygen uptake in emphysema patients, and prevents osteoporosis. It is under investigation for a host of different diseases from osteoporosis to post-polio syndrome to AIDS. It is the most effective anti-obesity drug ever discovered, revving up the metabolism to youthful levels, resculpting the body by selectively reducing the fat in the waist, abdomen, hips, and thighs, and at the same time increasing muscle mass. It may be the most powerful aphrodisiac ever discovered, reviving flagging sexuality and potency . . . It is cosmetic surgery in a bottle, smoothing out facial wrinkles; restoring the elasticity, thickness, and contours of youthful skin; reversing the loss of extracellular water that makes old people look like dried-up prunes. . . It reverses the insomnia of later life, restoring the 'slow wave' or deepest level of sleep. And it is a mood elevator, lifting the spirits along with the body, bringing back a zest for life that many people thought was lost forever.
