NATTOKINASE
Enzymes are an essential component of the diet like fat, protein, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, etc. and without them, a deficiency state does occur.
Nattokinase is a potent fibrinolytic enzyme extracted and highly purified from a Japanese traditional food called Natto. Natto, sometimes called "vegetable cheese," is made from fermented soybeans. Natto has been used for over a thousand years in Japan as a folk remedy for fatigue, dysentery, heart, and vascular diseases. Natto is produced by a fermentation process by adding Bacillus natto, a beneficial bacteria, to boiled soybeans. The resulting nattokinase enzyme, is produced when Bacillus natto acts on the soybeans. While other soy foods contain enzymes, it is only the natto preparation that contains the specific nattokinase enzyme. Natto is a also good source of protein and vitamin B2, which keeps your skin young. Natto is also rich in vitamin K2, which is helpful in preventing osteoprosis
Blood clots or thrombi form when strands of protein called fibrin accumulate in a blood vessel. In the heart, blood clotting cause blockage of blood flow to muscle tissue. Which results in blocking of oxygen supply to that tissue and it eventually dies. This can result in heart attacks and angina. In the brain, blood clots also block blood and oxygen from reaching necessary areas, which can result in senility and/or stroke. Cardiac infarction patients may have an inherent imbalance in that their thrombolytic enzymes are weaker than their coagulant enzymes. Nattokinase holds great promise to support patients with such inherent weaknesses in a convenient and consistent manner. Nattokinase is capable of directly and potently decomposing fibrin as well as activating pro-urokinase. Nattokinase works by fighting blood clots in several different ways. In addition to its plasmin-like properties, it also enhances the body's own production of plasmin. Traditionaly in Japan, Natto has been consumed not only for cardiovascular support, but also to lower blood pressure. It contains substances that inhibit a naturally-occurring enzyme that causes blood vessels to narrow and blood pressure to rise.
BENEFITS OF NATTOKINASE Nattokinase enhances the body's natural ability to fight blood clots, and has an advantage over blood thinners because it has a prolonged effect without side effects. The most common advantages of nattokinase are as follows
Nattokinase prevents blood clots from forming & dissolves existing blood clots. Nattokinase dissolves fibrin and enhances the body's production of plasmin and other clot-dissolving agents, including urokinase. Nattokinase shown to inhibit ACE (angiotensin converting enzyme), producing a lowering effect on blood pressure. Nattokinase may help prevent hardening of arteries. Nattokinase shows promising results in Cerebral hemorrhage or infarction, Hemorrhoids and varicose veins, Senile dementia, Diabetes, Fibromyalgia, Muscle spasms, Poor healing, Chronic inflammation.
SIDE EFFECTS OF NATTOKINASE No significant nattokinase side effects have yet been reported in the medical literature. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
