Losing hair is a problem faced by both men and women. Over 30 million women in America are currently dealing with hair loss. This can cause problems with self confidence and depression. You can stop or reverse this type of hair loss by simply being gentler on your hair. Androgenic Alopecia is a term which indicates hair loss in either gender which runs in families. It is a baldness gene, which can cause male pattern baldness in men and women. Unfortunately, as this is a genetic condition, little can be done. If you are a woman facing hair loss, be rest assured that it is not likely the sign of a major illness. Unfortunately, once you have gone bald, you will most likely not be able to regrow your hair, and must instead turn to cover-ups.
