Child development focus on behavioral observant of the parents since the moment baby was born. Without verbal communication, are you capable of telling his requests? When the baby looks right into your eyes, is his mind is thinking of something and can you tell what he wants? During this time, infants usually use crying to communicate. Some cries may sound different than the others. A sudden low wail of cry followed by a long pause and a large inhalation, and another wail indicates infants are in pain. If the child needs are not met, that lack of needs can result in developmental delays or a compromised health and safety. Early childhood education is especially crucial from zero to three years since the brain rapid development occurs within this interval. The thing a child sees, emotions he feels, hears and experiences, are ingredients for brain development. Everything a child reacts or involves within these first years will play great educational opportunity that will impact the child the rest of his life. So the answer to catch up with the fasting space requires family participation. Many studies reveal that parent participation plays vital role in child's achievement. Importance of play in child development cannot be too structured or too loose that it gives no lessons at all. Regimented play rips his capability of creativity and freedom of choice, resulting in negative consequences on social and emotional development of a child. Children need sufficient time to enjoy their own play and become deeply involved in their own terms. As stated earlier, that each child chooses his own way to learn and accumulate experiences differently. However, for some children, a hurried lifestyle can result in increased pressure and finally a depression. The challenge is up to the parents to balance out activities that would not push their child over his comforting territory while allowing them to enjoy their times. Basically, play is part of all of our innate longing. Play helps develop both IQ and EQ. But unfortunately, we have forgotten how we learned during the play when we were young. Instead of letting him emerge into his own playground, we push him into playing structured games, locking off his creativity unconsciously. Same goes for parents who leave the child with too much independent that they learn nothing during the process. Therefore, play is an art. It needs adaptation and needs be flexible. The parents need to learn child behavior under different circumstances for how he responds to new environment, deals with things that go wrong, what activities do he prefer, his adaptation to new toys, how long does it take to get used to, how to cope with activities he pays no mind. These things are indicators to the appropriate way to communicate with your child. Even the two brothers born from the same mother cannot be treated alike. Failure to reach full potential comes from many reasons whether they are poverty, poor health and nutrition, or deficient care. The fact is, over 240 million children under 5 in developing countries find difficulties in reaching their full potential.
