I believe that every one should not be unfamiliar with eye test, where the optometrist measures your vision on the letter chart, on which letters get smaller on each line from the top to down. You probably know that with an eye test, the optometrist will ask you to have an eyewear prescription to help you see better if necessary, however, you may probably not know that the optometrist will also assess your eye health, measure the pressure, ensure your eyes are working together efficiently and measure your reading performance at the meantime. Thus undergoing a test regular is important and necessary for anyone.
Regular eye tests eliminate possible damages to the eyes caused by undiagnosed conditions, because many eye diseases emerge without you knowing them. An early discovery can prevent further damages.
Regular eye tests help children grow healthily. As we all know, many eyesight problems are developed from childhood, therefore, to test eyes regularly prevents development of their vision problems.
Regular eye tests reduce children between the age of 1 to 5 to development into eye problems, like crossed eyes, turned-out eyes or lazy eyes.

Besides the above conditions, senior citizens are also among those who should have eye test regularly, because they have a higher risk of eye diseases or vision problems. If not treated properly, there is a possibility of complete blindness.
In words, when diagnosed early on, many eye diseases can be cured or treated, help to prevent permanent vision impairment. It is not a troublesome job to have an eye test for everyone, so why are you hesitate to do this simple thing that contributes a lot to your eye conditions.
