Reward Yourself After Weight Loss |

Losing weight is hard work. Not only that, but it takes
dedication. What many people don't realize is that it is very important for
morale to set fitness goals and once they are reached, reward yourself. The
best way to go about this is to physically write down each goal and reward for
each goal reached. For smaller goals, have smaller rewards, and so on. Here are
a few ideas on ways to reward yourself for all your hard work and dedication.
Remember, you deserve it.
- Make time to hang out with your friends. Social
connection is very important for your mental well-being. Say, once you lose
five pounds, you and your friends will go to a movie or go shopping. Make it
fun. It just might make you work a little bit harder to get that weight off.
Who doesn't love going to the movies with friends?
-
Take some "me" time. Whatever you love to do to
relax, do it. Go to a spa, take a nap, read a book, lie out in the sun, watch a
movie, or whatever else you enjoy. You will be surprised at how refreshed and rejuvenated
you will feel afterwards.
- Go shopping! This is one of my personal
favorites. Many people make the mistake of only going shopping for new clothes
when they reach their ultimate target weight. This is wrong! You need to feel
great the whole time you are losing weight; and one way to do that is by having
clothes that fit. I've been through it. I wore my incredibly baggy jeans
because I didn't want to jinx myself. I was going to wait until I lost ALL the
weight. Well, I finally decided that I was proud of what I had accomplished and
I wanted to feel great about myself even in the middle stages of my weight
loss. So go ahead, buy yourself some cute clothes! Look as fabulous as you
feel!
- Get a makeover. This one is so much fun. It goes
along with feeling great about yourself. Get a new updated hairstyle. Get some
makeup tips from the pros. You will feel like you can tackle the world.
-
Take a trip. Generally, this is a bigger reward,
but it is so worth it. Go to a place where you can still be active, but enjoy
yourself nonetheless. Try somewhere like an Arizona bed and breakfast.
It is secluded, relaxing, and you can enjoy the outdoors and the scenery.
Perfect!
However you decide to reward yourself, you are worth it and
you deserve it. Good luck with your fitness endeavors. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
