Thanks to modern day technology, there is a way to get a sun tan in a way that doesn't damage your skin at all. Ofcourse, you will also miss out on the warmth of the sun's rays. But still, a sun tan without skin damage is better than no tan at all, isn't it?
People get a lot of different results from using spray tans on themselves. There are a lot of brands and not all of them are created equal. But whether or not you get good results from a spray on tan is also determined by how well you read the instructions and how well you prepare. I've tried many spray on tans in the last few years. I know which ones work and which ones doesn't. The same goes for tan accelerator lotions. I've used many of those as well. With accelerators, you still need to find yourself a tanning bed. With a spray on tan, the tanning bed is not necessary anymore. Here are a few tips on getting the best results with spray tans! 1. Washing & Exfoliation. Before you use any sort of tan spray on yourself, you have to have scrubbed your entire body. You must also make sure to be clean. When scrubbing and cleaning, make sure you get to all the spots of your body. 2. Moisturizing. Hydrate yourself from top to toe before using a tanning spray. Do this a few hours before using the spray. This way, you will make your skin ready to accept the tanning spray. 3. Experimentation. This is especially important if you are only a beginner. Never get a full body tan on your first try. Instead, experiment with a partial body tan. Figure out what your skin's shade style is before continuing with more tanning. 4. Clothing. If you are doing this for the first time, wear clothes that will cover the parts of your body that you do not want to tan. Also, when rubbing a spray on tan on your body, use rubber gloves. You don't want the palms of your hands to get that nasty orange color that comes from over exposure to spray tans. These guidelines will surely help you achieve maximum results when you are trying to get a fake tan. You'll have to experiment a little bit to see what works best for you!
