Professional Estheticians will agree that Sylvan Company has created the most advanced dermabrasion machines on the market today. Dermabrasion was introduced in the United States in the late 1990's and by 2005 it was one of the most popular skin procedures. Its purpose is to remove the top layers of skin in order to give it a smooth appearance and to remove or lighten scars.
In years past, the very systems used to treat the skin problems often resulted in new scar tissue. The advanced system by Sylvan does not require the use of a painful wire brush and there is no down time. Additionally, there is little or no risk of infection. This new, advanced technology has made the old messy crystal type an antiquated and obsolete choice for any progressive Esthetician.
This new, innovative type of system uses a diamond tip head; which means there is no need for the oxide crystals. The diamond tip will remove or at the very least, grind down the top layer of skin. The dead skin, along with debris is vacuumed and filtered into the system and discarded, making this a very clean process. There are never any crystals to worry with - no chance of them getting into the client's eyes, nose, or ears, and there is no crystal residue to clean off of the client after the treatment. This results in happier clients.
Use of the diamond tip head leaves the clients' skin less irritated and less red or pinkish. The client is more comfortable throughout the process because there are not any crystals beating against their skin. The diamond tip head produces magnificent results, with reduced wrinkles, fine lines, scars, and pores.
It's really not surprising that both clients and Estheticians alike are demanding more from dermabrasion. Sylvan Company seems to have set some high standards which other companies can only hope to match someday. Until then, Estheticians will need to use the diamond tip head kits from Sylvan if they are going to get the clients they want. After all, word is getting out about the product, the results it achieves, and the comfort the client enjoys. Other systems are slowly but surely being discarded as this system takes over.
