Are you looking for a romantic way to spice up your love life? Why not create a night of romance by using scented candles to create a romantic atmosphere? The methods of aromatherapy has long been put to use to subtly alter emotions, help to increase vigor, or promote relaxation. The experience of smell has intense associative potential. A small sniff of a particular scent might make us bring to mind home, summers on a river, or cool October mornings. Each smell brings with it its own sentiments and images in our heads, for example lavender or chamomile for slumber and peace. This same idea is applicable to your love life. To create a romantic night, spread scented candles throughout the bedroom in a variety of places. The idea is to create a tender shining light that will alleviate the look of your physical imperfections while letting your companion know right away that they are in for something fantastic! Are you in need of help selecting that ideal scent? You could go with ordinary vanilla, but why not have a shot at something specifically developed for creating that old romantic mood? Cinnamon or Pumpkin Pie: The old wive's tale is true. The way to a man's heart is through his stomach and aromas that help remind him of these baked items will instantly put him in the mood for romance. These spicy scents are the ideal way to spruce up your love life! Jasmine: This woodsy flowered scent may seem somewhat old fashioned but it is a feminine smell that brings out the loving side of even the most manly man. And what woman would not adore a little old fashioned romance? Ylang Ylang: This aroma has long been employed as an aphrodisiac because of its comforting and mood elevating characteristics. A great selection if your partner can't seem to loosen up after a difficult day at the office. This will have him thinking about anything but the paperwork waiting for him. Oranges: The essential oils found in oranges were utilized by the Egyptians as an aphrodisiac and there was no greater temptress than Cleopatra. Known for centuries for its arousal capabilities, the fragrance of oranges may be the most highly effective of all the romantic scents. Use with caution! (Or wild abandon, the choice is yours.) Juniper: This one comes from my own practical experience. Out of all the perfumes and body sprays that I have tried, this one had men stopping me in the street to compliment me on its smell (much to the displeasure of their dates!) Purchase your scented candles meticulously, choosing your favorite from the tips mentioned above. Use them to contribute a little extra romance to your date night and watch the sparks fly!
