Mix two cups of sugar with one cup of water in a saucepan and place it on the stove applying moderate heat. When the mixture is about to boil add 2 teaspoons of the flavoring of your choice. You can double or triple the preparation as long as your pot is only half-full. As you're boiling sugar, do not fill the pan more than halfway mark.

Allow the mixture to get thicken on medium heat and then remove it from the oven. Allow some time for the gourmet flavored coffee syrup to cool a bit and then pour it into a wide-mouthed sterile container.
