This is the final part in a two part series of articles to discuss the main factors you should implement into your online business. Some of the topics discussed were design and web copy .If you haven't read the first article I suggest you do so now and I will see you back here in a minute. Search Engine Optimisation This really is an important part of your project I really don't believe you can have a website designed without a SEO campaign. Someone once said getting a website designed is like putting a poster on a tree in the middle of the Forrest. Which is true, you need quality traffic to your website. SEO is a great way to achieve this. Search engine optimisation can take a while to start showing results, however when it does it really starts to earn the money you paid for it. People think that SEO can be expensive. If you where to weight it up though against other forms of advertising you will find that's it's the opposite. You will spend far less on SEO than achieving the same results with traditional offline marketing. Newsletters Once someone has bought a product from your website then you have an opportunity to keep in touch with them. The use of newsletters through email can be a very powerful way to keep selling to your customers. If someone has bought a product from you they are more likely to buy again. So why not send a newsletter out every two - four weeks and tell your customers about new products or sale items. Not everyone goes online every day, however, it is said most people check their emails up to 7 times a day. Don't use this as an excuse to spam your customers as you will quickly annoy them and once you have done that is very hard to get them to buy again. If you are looking for a website design company that can really help with these things I would really give these guys a go, as I said in part one, they have over 30 years experience in SEO and I found them extremely helpful. Other companies are available. So as you can see getting your website designed is just one part in the puzzle I really do recommend you hire a company who knows about these things as you could be left with a website with no customers.
