Optimizing Article Submissions

First of all, vet through all your articles to check for language correctness, and quality of content. The better your article is, the more credibility you have among your readers. So don't rush through the process only to publish, but make sure you spend enough time checking and rechecking. After that, then only you can submit to article directories.

Most article directories will require that you register yourself first. Yes, it might be a lengthy process, but you only need to do it one time for each directory. Make sure that you put in your online website URL as well, so that readers can contact you for opportunities or more information. Some websites also allow pen names, and different ones for each niche.

Once your registration is approved, you get to submit articles for approval first. Here it does get quite tedious if you have lots of articles to publish at once, because you need to cut and paste from your notepad or Microsoft Word file to the forms supplied by the directory. You also need to select the right subject to publish in.

With this information in mind, when you write your articles, make sure that you have your titles, sub headlines, keywords, body, and author information ready to cut and paste. Some directories do store your author information, or resource box already, so you get to save a step. Also, if you have articles for different niches, try different pen names so as to not dilute your personal branding.

If you supplied your email address, you may be surprised at the amount of emails you can get if your articles are popular. Get a separate email account if necessary.

There are hundreds of article directories to submit to, and don't even try to submit to all manually if you want to live a quality life. Either you get an automatic article submitter software or service, or try to submit to the top article directories such as:
(1) EzineArticles
(2) Article Hub
(3) Articles Factory
(4) Go Articles
