We all know that most advertising strategies require not only most of
your time but also a huge amount of your budget. Advertising is just
too expensive, and chances are, if you are a small business or starting
a new one, you won't have enough money to set up, let alone sustain,
big advertising vehicles.
Or, you're just strapped for resources at the moment that you can't afford the seemingly successful ones that big companies use for their marketing strategy. There's no need to fear. Despite inadequate funding for your marketing strategy, there are still those non-advertising approaches that usually need a little money. But they do require much of your time and creativity to develop. When you're on a shoestring budget, you might want to try these babies for a change: Game Shows/Contests People do love to play games. And even when we lose, we still love to see others winning. You can bank on this fact for your promotional strategy. Develop a marketing contest that infuses fun and craziness into the game. Make it so wacky that you get media attention, which makes it so irresistible because it's free advertising for you! Gifts Who doesn't love gifts, especially if it's free? Sometimes, people even pay for a more expensive item just to get merchandise for free. Some industries have made a success of this marketing tactic. And most of them were able to generate more clients for their business. You don't even need to shell out funds for the freebie. You can always give out what you already have in your shop. Coupons Coupons are effective because you don't even have to make clean and neat ones. You can always print coupons fast and dirty because what is important is what's written in it - a very generous offer. You can always include a cut-out coupon on your flyers or insert a few slips inside your brochures. With your coupons, your direct mail brochures and flyer printing pieces stand a good chance of getting the attention of your clients. Your coupons give value to your direct mail tools, which makes them keepers rather than junk mail. Exclusives For loyal and current clients, you can always include exclusive offers and previews in your color brochures or print flyers. Advertise a special discount sale or an elite preview of new merchandise only your loyal clients get to see. Not only will it build a stronger relationship with your roster of clients, you also inspire devotion and reliability. There are still more marketing approaches you can do even with limited funds. The bottom line is that advertising your business doesn't need to cut a huge chunk on your budget. You only need to spend more time and creativity to develop really effective ones. Before you know it, you'll see your business grow beyond your expectations. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
