Walk into any office whether it is at home or in the workplace and the likelihood is that you will be surrounded by folders of various shapes and sizes. Folders have been used for many years as a way of storing and protecting important documentation.

Folders are now used for a variety of different purposes and come in a wide selection of shapes and sizes. For example if you are wanting somewhere to store letters and invoices that can be referred back to regularly then A4 folders or binders will be perfect. If however you are looking for a way to display marketing and advertising literature about your company that can be given to potential clients then a presentation folder is likely to be more appropriate.

A4 folders or binders are by far the most widely used type of folder. The majority of important documentation such as letters, bills, invoices and certificates are printed on A4 paper then these important documents are stored in A4 folders. However A4 is not the only size of folder available you can also get A5 folders and even A3 folders which may be more appropriate depending on what you want to store and protect.

Folders however are not the only way of storing important documentation and there are several other options which may be preferable. If you are looking to store information packs or loose documents then an A4 or A5 Document box may be more suitable. Document boxes are hard wearing, high versatile and easy to store. You are even able to choose what volume of documents you need the box to hold ranging from 120 sheets to 650 sheets. These are perfect for documents that you do not need on a regular basis but need to be kept safe.

If however you only want to store a few sheets of paper such as an important report that you are taking to a meeting then plastic wallets or report covers may be more suitable. These even come in a large range of colours so you choose a colour which will compliment your corporate branding.

Looking after important documentation and being well organised is essential to running a successful business. By using A4 folders, document boxes and plastic wallets your business will have a professional feel and help to give the right impression to your clients.
