Well honestly if you spend even the smallest amount of time on the internet you have came across at least one good site that is good for making money but you have no doubt passed it by and the reason is simple there are thousands among thousands of sites that promise you an easy $5000 a week with only 15 minutes of work. While these sites do hold some truth, many people think this money comes automatically with no work and when they don't earn anything they get frustrated and turn away from it, never to return.

I have been looking for quality ways to make money online for the past 2 years now and I have learned a great deal of making money online, for instance it is not easy, it takes a lot of work, but if your willing to do the work the payoff of working online is great. Ok let's get down to some examples shall we!

First I'm going to introduce you to a couple of quality sites in which you can make money from, the first is called MaxBounty. MaxBounty is an affiliate type of program that is free to join and they have a very good selection of products for you to promote, and the second program is called the Internet Marketing Center, again this site is an affiliate network in which you promote products on and when someone buys a product that you have promoted, you make money from it (links to these sites can be found at the bottom of the article).

No doubt the majority of people have tried an affiliate program before and did not make any money from it and wondered why some people consistently say affiliate programs are the way to go. Well in order to succeed at an affiliate program you really need to work at it, you'll need to treat it exactly like you were in charge of a business, because that's exactly what it is, it's your business for generating an income.

Here are a couple of steps you can take to help you out in the affiliate marketing world, first do not get discouraged when a month goes by without a sale, you need to think for the long run on this one, you are not going to get rich overnight, the sooner you accept this the better off you will be.

The second thing you need to do is choose a particular product to market, do NOT market every single product available to you, this is what most beginners fail to realize, after some time you will be able to market more products but for now just stick with a market that interests you.

Step three is to build a community that provides accurate and quality information, have a look at the many community's on the internet, for instance Helium, Photobucket, YouTube, and Blogs are all excellent examples of online communities, build a website for your community and do not lie to your users, also do not place links to your affiliate products in every corner of your website, if you do people will loose trust and realize you are only trying to make a quick buck rather then give them what they want.

The final step is to advertise all of your communities, yes make lots, create blogs, create your own newsgroups, and even make more then one website but focus on one at a time, from there you can begin to offer people your affiliate products and people will buy.

Ok now let's talk about residual income, Helium is a source of residual income, you create something once and earn money on it for the rest of time. SFI is another company that is a good source of residual income (See the end of this article for all website links).

If you apply yourself, you can make money online and with some hard work you can generate enough income to happily support yourself but be realistic about your goals and do your research, do not spend all of your time with get rich quick schemes or the only thing you'll be making is debt.
