you read the name PlayStation Portable, you understand immediately that this
game console is easy to carry, designed for maximum portability. Launched in
2004, on May 11th, the PlayStation Portable is made by Sony, one of
the major players when it comes to game consoles and games. Since the launch,
this small portable console has convinced a lot of players of its unique
advantages. The PSP works with the help of optical discs, which you use to play games. Besides playing games, you can do a number of other things with the help of the PSP. One of the best features of the PlayStation Portable, which you don't find in other game consoles, is the multitasking ability. There are a number of advantages when using a Sony PSP instead of another model. For example, you only carry the PSP, instead of hauling along an MP3 player as well. The quality of the music played by the PSP is good enough to allow you to skip owning an MP3 player. Also, its gaming capabilities are great, with many awards and huge sales to prove it. You have the option of choosing from many games, since Sony launched over 350 titles designed specifically for the PSP. You can choose an exotic sport or an adventure game, and play it easily wherever you are, as long as you have your PSP with you. Another interesting option is the ability to watch movies on a PSP. You can choose from over 450 different movies, music videos and TV programs. All these come on UMD discs, which the Sony PSP can play. This means that when you're moving, you can easily carry all your favorite movies with you, and watch them even when you're in vacation. As for the music, you can play WAV, MP3, MP4, WMA and other types of media files. An interesting feature is the ability to make slide shows which can be shared over WiFi with friends.
