Nokia's mobile phone gaming platform is re-launched. Revamped to download onto N-Series mobiles. Now some of you may remember the old Nokia N-Gage from five years ago - it was a big clumsy looking gaming device with phone features. Sadly it did not take off, probably because even the most hardcore gamers didn't want to carry a brick around with them! Now Nokia have revamped N-Gage and made it into a platform, which can be downloaded to ‘normal sized' Nokia mobiles. The N-Gage platform can be downloaded to the Nokia N81, N82 and N95 currently, but it is expected that more N-Series handsets will be added to the list shortly. And once you have N-Gage on your mobile you will be able to download games and play online with other mobile gamers. The N-Gage platform is promising to be a cross between iTunes and the Xbox Live community for gamers. A couple of great points about the new N-Gage is that it will be much easier to find a game you like, as buying games through your operator or network is often complicated and it can be difficult to navigate the menus to find the game you want. Nokia's N-Gage will also make it possible to play a short demo of each game before you buy it, which is certainly a new idea to mobile gaming. Some of the games currently available are Fifa 08, Brain Challenge and World Series of Poker Pro Challenge, games will cost between £4.50 and £8.00. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
