It is a known fact that husbands and wives face tough and rough times during the course of their marriage. Even if two persons vowed for a lifetime of love for each other, there are circumstances that drain the love. You are a victim of marital conflicts yourself. You often find yourself at war with your partner in things that affect your family life. Conflicts arise when you disagree with how your money should be spent or how your children should be raised. You begin to find faults and shortcomings; when you finally want them resolved, your husband just would not give serious attention to them.
It is these issues that make you presume divorcing with your husband is better than putting up with him. But before you finally come at a point of no return, it is best to save your marriage right away. If your husband does not have the desire to make the marriage work because he thinks nothing is wrong, here are a few good ways you can do to save marriage alone:
1. Confide with other people. You can save marriage alone but you need all the help you can get. Seek the advice of your friends and your loved ones. Mention to them the conflict that you have with your husband. If you have to talk with a marriage counselor, do so because this person can help you get your way to save marriage alone successfully.
2. Do not adhere to negativity. Your husband must have done you more goodness than brought you pain and misery. If you think positively regarding your partner's actions, you can once again find the love that was there during the early times of the marriage.
3. To save marriage alone also means evaluating yourself and your relationship with your husband. You may not be aware that you have been a demanding and nagging wife to the father of your children. Your feelings of disgust can drive you to blame everything to your husband, but have you really been everything that your husband needs? Have you been a good wife? Did you cause your husband's insensitiveness?
4. Make amends. Once you have recognized your faults, it is time you resolve them. Make up for lost times; let your husband know that you are sorry for all the wrong things you have done by putting words into action. If you put importance on the commitment and you want to save marriage alone, you have to honestly accept the fact that you also contributed to the downfall of the marriage.
5. Open up with your husband. He has to know what is going on. He is your husband; therefore he has to be informed. Let him know what your concerns are. Pleasantly tell him the attitudes he should refine. In the end, it takes the effort of a husband and wife to get a marriage saved. Also, marriage counseling would not hurt if you both agree to it.
