Get a dongle to improve your mobility. Great speeds and no landline costs.

USB dongles are allowing customer to access the internet on the move without the need for a fixed line, and this has seen them grow in popularity. So instead of having a landline and then adding a broadband package on top of that, you can simply buy a plug in USB dongle and sign up to a mobile broadband contract with a network. This will then give you the flexibility to be able to use your broadband connection wherever you go, instead of being tied to your house.
USB dongles can get speeds of up to 7.2Mbps depending on the provider, which is comparable to standard home broadband, so your connection doesn't need to suffer just because you are on the move.
Sales of mobile USB dongles now account for at least 15% of sales from 3 and T-Mobile, with some stores reporting sales as high as 40%.
Sales of mobile broadband dongles have more than doubled since last September, and the success has seen the two networks competing head-to-head on price and making the USB dongles central to their business plans. It is expected that sales will reach 1 million this year.
Vodafone are also stating that their data revenue has increased over Christmas and are reported to be launching reduced USB broadband tariffs to compete with 3 and T-Mobile.
This shows that we are looking for flexibility now. Also as mobile are becoming more and more popular, less people are using landlines, and their installation fees can be quite high, so when it comes to a broadband connection a mobile version is often the simplest and cheapest option.
