Managing a credit card is not a piece of cake and if you have several of them, it may seem all the more difficult. Credit cards spoil us in the beginning and then ruin us in the end. Most of you may have the same feeling using or having used credit cards. However, where there is a problem there is also a solution. Credit cards must not be neglected or taken for granted. You must handle with care' when it comes to plastic money. Michael was living a peacefully with his wife and children when there was this collection agency that started calling him for a debt he did not owe. After repeatedly telling them that they were dialing the wrong residence for the debt, the agency still didn't stop. Michael didn't know what to do so someone suggested to him to write to this collection agency to stop calling them because they were violating FTCP rules. Letters of credit come in handy not just in times like this but in so many different situations. There are several letters related to different situations. In a situation where you don't agree to a debt and want to get it removed from your credit report, you may send a dispute letter. A dispute letter of credit states that you do not agree with the debt and would want an explanation in details about the debt. Once you send the dispute letter, your creditor needs to validate the debt and if he can't, according to the FTCP rules he needs to remove false information from the credit report. You don't need to get professional help at this stage. Once you have made your attempt then if things don't work out as you had wished them to, then you may seek professional help.
