I love Christmas. Always have. However, as a child, there was always one thing about the holiday that I hated the most, going to the post office. My mom was nuts about making sure all her sisters and grandparents got presents for Christmas, which meant us spending 3 hours in the post office. Sometimes we had to go multiple times because she would find she forgot to send a package. I remembered dreaming with my others siblings of having a postal scale that would weigh the packages at home and then someone would pick them up from our house. That would have meant no more Christmas holidays spent at the post office for long dreadful hours. Years later I now have a family of my own and have found that I'm doing the same thing to my kids that my mother did to me. Every Christmas holiday I drag them to the post office to send off packages to my own siblings; the irony of life. I suddenly began imagining my kids wishing that I had my own postal scale. Well one year just before the Christmas holidays I saw an advertisement for the United States Postal Office which said that they now picked up packages from peoples home. I couldn't believe it. Now all I needed was some sort of postage or postal scale. Life was suddenly going to get better during the Christmas season. I realized that I could use a postage scale all the time and not just during Christmas. I was constantly sending packages for my small business and was very time consuming going to the post office every time I had to send a package. A postal scale seemed perfect; it saved me time. Not only did I save time, I found that with a digital postal scale I was able to save money. Don't think that your business isn't big enough, because once you get a postage scale you will realize that you should have got one sooner. Also you don't have to have a business to get a scale.
