We have witnessed many people rise to dizzying heights and have seen many people stymied by their inability to grow as they had hoped they would. In spite of our best efforts to help them, it always seemed to be a herculean effort to try and get those folks growing. It took a while to figure out what made it so hard, but once we did, we learned how to get those that wanted to grow into the right building mode. What is it that separates those that earn $1000 per month from those that earn $10,000+ per month? Why do some folks 'rock and roll' while others seem to stumble along? It all boils down to one thing...right or wrong, they each bought into their own personal B.S.....their Belief System! I know many of you will read this and yawn...you may read it and realize you've heard it before. But are you reading it as one of those earning what you want...what you truly deserve in this business or do you find yourself still wanting more? At a training event I recently attended, I watched as the group was told how they can earn $50,000 and more in this business. I listened and watched for their reactions. Some of the folks got a glazed look to their faces and said "I can't see myself earning that".... I expect that reaction. One or two said nothing....but I could tell from their reactions that this scored a different response from them. They DID see themselves earning that and more. Therein lies the lesson to be learned....We are all products of our limitations - and they are ALL self-imposed!

The moment we accept any "reality" as fact, the moment we accept that limitation - we own it and live with that restriction! If I were to tell you that you can earn $1000 in an opportunity it is very likely ALL of you will buy into that "reality" because it is a number you can accept. You probably earn that, or more, and are not intimidated by the number. If I take it a little higher, say $5000 per month, I lose a few folks if they have never earned that amount before. It may be close enough to where they are now that they might be able to make the mental transition to that higher number...but it can be a push to their envelope. If I ratchet up to $20,000 per month, the air gets thinner and I lose a few more. Why? Because it is not a number they have physically earned, perhaps have only dreamed of earning and therefore perceive it a stretch to earn. Yet, a person currently earning $20k per month can see it as not just do-able, but more of a certainty.

Why? Because their Belief System accepts it as a fact. So the only difference between the person "buying" into $5k and $20k is perception...no more no less. The same holds true for earning $50,000 - $100,000 per month. When told that you can earn that...some of you roll your eyes, giggle or laugh nervously, smile and fidget. If you don't believe me...tell someone in your group they can earn this and watch their reaction for yourself. No matter what you believe, no matter what you accept...you are correct...it's as simple as that!
