A Critical Review of Derek Broes of Revolucion |

Derek Broes is very accomplished. His resume includes Senior Director and Vice President Positions at Microsoft and Paramount Pictures. He also was a top leader in efusjon, a network marketing company. With his experience, Derek Broes is considered an expert in social media and digital entertainment. In fact, he designed some of the earliest Social Network applications on the Internet. The Network Marketing History of Derek Broes A year ago, Derek Broes was new to Network Marketing. His introduction came through a popular start-up MLM called eFusjon. Derek had spent the last few years developing an application for Facebook, which created a viral marketing tool out of Facebook games. Excited about the potential of the application, eFusjon leaders offered Derek a position as the Master Distributor in return for use of the application. However, ultimately this proved to be a bad move when the application was a complete flop. As a result of the fallout and failure of the Facebook application, Derek Broes was terminated as the Master Distributor in July of 2009. In return, he filed a law suit against eFusjon, and went on to form his own network marketing company, Revolucion. My Personal Take on Derek Broes eFusjon really set themselves up for failure by making Derek Broes bigger than the company. He became a rock star in the company, and the face for everything. With this confidence, Derek seemed to be out of control, and said many things that were not supported by reality within the company. He made claims about the compensation plan that were not true, which I think was much based on speculation on things that he wanted to do but had not consulted with company, It all made for allot of miscommunication between the company and the distributors, One of the big problems with eFusjon is that it riddled with inaccuracies on the facebook application, the compensation plan, and Derek Broes.In addition, neither Derek nor the Company made any real effort to clarify things. Rumors were everywhere that Derek was a buddy with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerburg, There were also speculation that he had an exclusive agreement with Facebook. Finally, there was allot of hype about how the application actually worked, In the end, Derek and eFusjon failed to deliver in all areas. Don't get me wrong, I think that Derek is generally a good guy with good intentions. However, I also think he was given way too much power, and he got a bit of a big head as a result. For example, made claims about the compensation plan, that were really speculation, but taken as fact. He also was well aware of all of hype surrounding him and the application, and should have clarified things much sooner. Derek Broes has his new company Revolucion now, which is pretty much a clone of eFusjon. Derek is a network marketer, and never has been. He was placed at the top of matrix, so I don't think he has a full understanding of the industry or the experience to run an effective mlm company.
