There is a spray booth available for every application these days. For the automotive sector you have the automotive spray booths. For heavy duty trucks you have the truck spray booths and for articles that need to be either painted in batches or for typical application you have the industrial spray booths. The automotive and truck spray booths have variants depending on the direction of the airflow and the location of the exhaust plenums. The industrial spray booths include airplane booths and production tunnels. The airplane booths can paint small aircraft like a two-seat airplane or the jumbo Boeing aircraft. USAF fighter aircraft have been painted in these booths as well. There are open faced booths also which come in handy table top variants. The production tunnels are used for painting articles that are mounted in batches on palettes and then moved on a conveyor that is robotically controlled through sections till they are cured. The articles are first prepared by a surface treatment which could be by blasting. Rinsing with a chemical reagent is next or simple washing with water. Dried articles move on the conveyor system for painting or powder coating and then cured inside an oven. Irrespective of the type of paint booth the air-paint mix or aerosol is one of the most important issues in any painting operation. Creation of the right aerosol is done in the mixing room. This room is built to the size and shape as desired by the customer. However, there are at least 30 different sizes of mixing rooms available from which you can pick your own option. Galvanized and white powder coated panels are used for the fabrication of mixing rooms for increased life and corrosion resistance besides enhanced maintainability. The mixing room has the airflow beginning from the top of the booth to the exhaust located at the opposite bottom end. The turbine exhaust is quiet and the lighting fixtures have been specially designed to enable focus while eliminating shadows. Large size filters are provided for efficient filtration. Channels have been provided on the floor in order to contain spillage. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
