No win no fee is one of the most talked about terms on the Internet, and can be seen and heard used in many TV commercials, radio ads and magazines. What exactly does ‘no win no fee' mean though? No win no fee generally refers to compensation claims that are brought about via injuries. If you are injured in an accident, whether the accident happens at work, on the street or in a car, and someone is liable for the accident, then you can claim compensation against them for your injuries. The important part about making a no win no fee claim for compensation is that someone has to have admitted liability before any claim can be finalised. You can claim for medical expenses, damage to your property or car, for emotional distress and for time missed from work. Legal costs can be expensive, which in the past has deterred people from making compensation claims, but with the no win no fee system you are able to make a claim for compensation without spending any money. If your claim is unsuccessful then you don't have anything to pay with regards to legal costs. You only pay costs if you are successful, and these costs are either paid out of your winnings or they can even be reclaimed from the third party insurance company.
