Easysaver Program Shows Easy Saver Shoppers How To Save Money
Article Submitted by: Bobby Blair

Twice a year, a friend and I go all out and pamper ourselves on our birthdays. We spend a long weekend at a fabulous spa resort, indulging in shopping and beauty treatments. We eat what we want and don't count the calories or fat grams. Last year, we discovered that by using an easysaver program before, during and after our trip, we could make our money go further. Now we call the weekends away our easysaver birthday getaways.

If you are unfamiliar with the concept of an easysaver program, it works like this: Members are invited to join when they purchase a product from a partner website. They pay a low, monthly fee and receive discounts on products and services from a variety of easy saver partner businesses. The membership fee usually pays for itself in savings each month. We joined several easysaver programs after discovering them last year, and we used them on nearly every part of this year's getaways.

We put our easysaver program to work in planning the trip itself. Many easy saver programs have trip planners on staff who can suggest places to stay, hotels that offer discounts with your easysaver membership. Easy saver programs specialize in spa getaways, too, so our trip planner had us set up at a spa in Palm Springs in no time.

She also gave us a list of restaurants that offer discounted gift certificates through the easysaver program. We ordered them ahead of time, and saved up to 20 percent on all of our meals. That left more money for spa treatments... and champagne.

Since we live in Arizona, and Palm Springs is within reasonable driving distance, we decided to turn this year's birthday getaway into a road trip. Our easysaver program even helped us there, with rebates on gasoline.

We had so much fun on our first easysaver birthday getaway this year, that we began planning the second as soon as we returned. We are going to take advantage of our easy saver program's great discounts on cruises this time.

An easy saver membership just isn't for vacations, though. Members save money on everything from everyday items - groceries, pharmacy items - to big ticket buys, such as televisions. These easysaver programs have partnerships with national home improvement and electronic stores, plus pretty much any other chain store you shop at regularly. Easy Saver programs can be found by searching online for "discount programs" or "membership rewards programs."
