Whether at the office or at home, everyday we deal with trying to keep things somewhat neat and organized. For the most part we know what we are doing. Books go on bookshelves, clothing in dressers and closets, pots and pans in cupboards. But what about those smaller odds and ends? Whether you shove them in drawers or simply put them on a book shelf, they end up tangle and messy looking. Plus it's impossible to find what you need when you need it. By simply adding shelf bins to your existing drawers or shelving, you can create a more organized space and save yourself a lot of hassle when trying to find things like paper clips, thread, twist ties and other household necessities.
Shelf bins are plastic containers that can easily be slipped into any drawer or shelving unit. They come in a variety of sizes and colors to suit any room. They can be purchased on their own to fit into your existing storage spaces, or they can be bought with their own shelving unit. The best place to purchase them is online, as they are not a tradition storage solution for within the home. Shelf bins are traditionally used in the warehouses of companies that sell goods such as screws and nails. But just because they are not a ‘typical' item found in a home doesn't mean that they aren't exactly what you need. Many people have shoe boxes and other containers filled with odds and ends and every house has at least one junk drawer. But it would be so much nicer and easier to store these items within reach in a neat manner. In your sewing and craft room or area, by adding a few shelf bins to put on a book shelf you immediately have somewhere to organize all of your thread, pins and needs, ribbons, button and other crafting supplies such as pompoms and felt pieces. Instead of searching through a container or bag for what you are looking for, you can have everything ready at hand.
Add some shelf bins to any existing storage shelving in your garage and you have a place to put all your nails and screws, being able to sort them by size. Isn't it much easier to find the right one if they are all organized, rather than looking through a random container with everything thing and every size all jumbled together? And shelf bins can make a child's play area look neat at all times. Building blocks, crayons, plastic soldiers and Barbie doll clothing and accessories can each have their own bin. And the less your child has to go tearing through their toys to find exactly what they are looking for, the less mess there is for you to clean up! And shelf bins look so much neater and pulled together than storing toys in ice cream containers or shoe boxes. These are only a few ways and a few areas where shelf bins can help you keep your house tidy and organized. The only limit to how much you can get out of shelf bins is your imagination.
