While the summer can be a great time for students and those having just left school, all too often the real world problems of money kick in and they find that they just don't have enough spare cash to enjoy themselves the way they want to. This leads people to look for temporary jobs for the summer.
The summer can be awful when you have no money. Luckily there are plenty of summer jobs available for students and school leavers, including the sort of jobs that still leave plenty of free time to enjoy the summer as well.
One of the most popular types of temp jobs is bar work, which is often ideal for students because more often than not most of their free time would be spent in the bar anyhow.
As many people aim to get fit during the summer, often gyms and fitness centres have temporary work available to help them cope with the extra demand. This is a good option for many as will involve training and some of the work may be outside, which is preferable to some than an office during the summer.
A common form of temp work during the summer is strawberry picking, as the strawberry season comes into full swing during the summer. While this work doesn't pay large sums of money, it is stress free and you can often eat as many strawberries as you like while you're picking them, making it one of the popular summer jobs.
