Lay-outing your images for your advertising material may feel like fitting a pair of pants two sizes smaller of those skinny jeans. You may push and shove and change angles but you still end up midway. You can't force it or you prints are going to burst at the seams. Know the strengths and potentials of poster printing and make your advertisement fit your marketing needs. You can have it printed on 100lb gloss cover (which is the equivalent of a thick magazine cover) or a thinner 100lb gloss text (which is as thin as the inside pages of a glossy magazine) for easier handling. 3. Choose your location Indoor posters are generally smaller than their outdoor counterparts. Use large sizes of posters for indoors. These strikes out the competition will easily win your customers' attention. When printing for large outdoor posters, go crazy with the same and print in gigantic sizes. As large format posters lets you choose your poster material, ask for the vinyl variety so you can print banner sized posters. This will surely win you more than a few glances. 4. UV-coating for extra big impressions Big impressions can go beyond sizes; it can be made with the wow factor. Print your posters with ultra shiny UV-coating. This envelopes prints in a thin plastic like material that give your print vibrant colors and extra shine. UV-coating improves the contrast and the vibrancy of your prints giving your poster an edge over other posters.
