As a young or expecting parent you probably know that it is a good idea to start building up your wardrobe of clothes before the birth of your little baby girl. But before you run out and start buying up all the clothes you can find it's good to take a step back and consider which baby clothes your little girl will ne, roughly how long she'll be able to wear these clothes, and what expectations for baby clothes shopping you'll have to keep in mind. First of all new born babies of both genders do not usually need many different types of clothes. Many parents purposefully choose to keep their newborn babies in the house while their immune systems develop and while they are the most dependant on their mothers. Newborns also tend to not do much more than eat sleep, and go to the bathroom thus clothing options for your baby girl in this stage need not be very diverse. Additionally it is good to know that after birth a baby will lose a little weight before she gains weight. This implies that baby clothes that fit a new born should fit a bit longer than new clothes would fit if they were born at three months of age. One you identify the length of time you expect your baby to be in the house almost every day then you can start to estimate just how many baby girl clothes you need to buy for when the child starts growing, moving around on her own, and traveling out of the house. We all know that when people leave the house clothes tend to get trendier and cuter and this always happens with babies when their parents start taking them out of the house. It will do little good to buy a large wardrobe of trendy clothes for your newborn if you don't plan on taking her out of the house but only a few times before she is a few months old. You will obviously want some fashionable options for your baby girl for pictures and for house guests but for the most part planning for diverse and unique baby clothes won't be necessary until your baby is at least a few months old. Until then stick with functional clothes that you as a parent can work with easily and start shopping at the clothing exchanges for cute baby clothes for kids at least a few month old.
