One of the most common types of automobiles on the road today is the sport utility vehicle. Sport Utility Vehicles, or SUVs, are one of the most popular types of vehicles on the road, combining the towing capacity of the pickup truck and the passenger carrying passenger and cargo space of a minivan or station wagon. SUVs are often designed with a simple square cross-section, a compartment for the engine as well as for the passenger and cargo, and no dedicated trunk. Most SUVs, especially mid-size and full sized models, can have three rows of seats with cargo area directly behind the last row of seats. Compact and mini SUVs may have only five or fewer seats. But whatever the type or size, SUVs are one of the most sought after vehicles on the market, especially in the United States, Canada, and Australia. The popularity of the SUV is due to a variety of reasons. Car buyers were often attracted to the large cabins, higher ride height and supposedly high level of safety. Also, there are full-size sport utility vehicles that have towing capabilities than are far greater than conventional cars, thus giving SUV owners the ability to tow travel trailers or caravans and boats with relative convenience. Another reason why the SUV is so popular is that they are utilitarian vehicles, which explains the growth in popularity of SUVs among women, who constitute more than half of SUV owners. Another factor that can contribute of the success of the SUV is the large and varied collection of SUV Truck Parts and accessories sold in the market. Truck SUV Accessories can enhance the appearance of the SUV while providing it with additional function. One such example of an accessory that can be fitted on your car is the floor mats.
