There are numerous unique kinds of Mustangs - but none of them is more ordinary than the Saleen/Parnelli Jones limited edition. This is equipped with a Saleen MOD 302 V8 3 valve engine that is able to push out 400 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 390 ft. pounds of torque at nearly 4,000 rpm. With that type of ability in one vehicle it is no wonder that just a few individuals could get their hands on it. This particular engine that lied beneath the hood has high compression and high rev thanks to the forged piston rods, crankshaft, and lightweight aluminum flywheel that it used. Saleen produced this as a method to deliver a vehicle that had the power of a race car combined with luxury. It was also equipped with the Racecraft TM precision suspension from Saleen, superior springs, sway bars, shocks, and 14" brakes constructed for road and track. These tires provided superior performance and the ultimate grip in handling that offers the best and safest drive possible. Most if not each of these components were of course produced and fashioned by Saleen. Each car that was created was signed by both Steve Saleen and Parnelli Jones and was debuted with a special serial dash plaque. Only a select few of these models were produced and it was no surprise when they were snatched up quickly. The Saleen/Parenelli Mustang was priced with an MSRP of $59,015. This price included taxes and destination fees. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
