Ford Fusion is a great car but for some reason it is not moving fast as expected. People miss out many factors that make this car good. It offers perfect handling and the most important is it is affordable. Carrying the price tag of Rs.5.95 lakh, Fusion is an important model rolled out of Ford stable in India. It falls in between the premium sedan Fiesta and the rugged looking Endeavor. The concept of a crossover SUV is yet to be popularized in our country. Powered by 1.6 Duratec petrol engine and a 1.4 Duratorq TDCi diesel engine offers a smooth and fun drive. The engine mated with the 5-speed short throw gear box churns out 100 bhp for the petrol version and 67 bhp for the diesel engine. The exterior is also sleek and stylish and this 4-meter long car sits perfectly on the 15-inch wheel. The Fiesta diesel version has been one of the top performers for some years now but many may not be aware that the same diesel engine performance has rubbed on to Fusion also. The upholstery is also of good quality giving total riding comfort even on long drives. The car would have been a great click if more luxurious feature offering comfort and convenience to a great extent. Ford Fusion carries power, performance and style but it lacks is the luxury features and comfort. The interiors hold on firmly in any rough conditions with quality finish materials. It's a SUV based platform. It is compelling for those who like Ford's performance driven cars. With Fusion you know you have made the right choice for a SUV.
