Modern day cars can often resemble a popular gadget shop with the amount of devices and appliances that come installed, as standard in some vehicles. However useful these products and gadgets may be they do pose a serious hazard to drivers, they can avert attention from the road which can have fatal consequences. Mobile phones are probably the worst when it comes to distracting drivers and despite the penalties that being caught on your phone results in, many drivers still run the risk. £60 and 3 points on their license is not enough for some people. In reality it is not just their lives that are at risk by choosing to use a phone whilst driving as it is other drivers they are putting at risk to. Hands-free sets are easy to purchase for the majority of mobile phones nowadays and if you are one of many people who tends to receive frequent calls whilst driving then hands-free sets are a must. Satellite navigation systems are also a product that you can find in many cars. These are handy products as they make a journey go more smoothly especially in areas you are not so familiar with. However, it is important to have them in your eye line, as you may have to glance at the map from time to time and looking away for even a split second could be hazardous. For those who do a lot of driving you may feel yourself becoming very tired.
