The year-to-date sales through March are up by 3.5 percent.

The sales growth last March was also aided by the incremental sales of new nameplates, including 925 units of Dodge Nitro, 610 units of Dodge Avenger and 148 units of Chrysler Aspen. The Jeep brand sales increase by 133 percent brought about by the strength of its new nameplates----the Jeep Compass and Jeep Patriot.
