""Vorsprung durch Technik" - the philosophy of the Audi brand is
an expression of technical perfection, innovative ideas and creative endeavor.
These very same aspects are the elementary pre-requisites for artistic success.
By promoting art and culture Audi also forges a link to its own products which,
besides their functional value, hold an aesthetic and emotional appeal too."
said Benoit Tiers, Managing Director, Audi India.
Audi has a long tradition of cultural engagement. With numerous
co-operations and its own cultural events world wide, the company promotes
world-class artistic performances. Keeping true to its name (Audi means
"hear" in Latin), classical music is at the focus of the company's
cultural patronage. It blends tradition with emotion and creates an arena for
encounters between artist and public.

Rattle. The 2008 edition of this highly exclusive event sees AUDI AG acting as
a main sponsor for the first time.

sponsor of the Classic Open since 2007.
Jazz Baltica
Jazz Baltica started out as the inaugural event of Ars Baltica, a network for
cultural cooperation between the Baltic Sea States. Promoting young musical

heart. Audi has been a main sponsor of the festival since 2004.
Ingolstadt
Jazz Festival
The Ingolstadt Jazz Festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2008. The

highlight concert at the Audi Forum in Ingolstadt.
Ingolstadt Georgian
Chamber Orchestra
The musicians from this ensemble, which was originally founded in Tiflis,

art: many of the employees there draw their creative flair from artistic
pastimes. The "Audi Art" initiative, which was launched in 2004 by
the division's management, organises art events to offer these employees a
forum for their work.
