Hybrid cars are
known as the ‘car of the future'. The advanced technology and innovation has
introduced something remarkable and heart rendering to the global car industry.
The car industry was always in search for a better fuel efficient engines and their search got over with the introduction of hybrid cars. Hybrid cars are a combination of car engines where in the car holds one gasoline engine and other electric engine. In the common hybrid cars, gasoline engine is mainly used to fuel or charge the electric engine. India is still not prepared for the hybrid cars but yet the advantages of hybrids are so enormous that gradually the Indian car manufacturers are planning to roll out many more hybrids to India. Honda Civic Hybrid is the first hybrid car in India that brought a revolution in the Indian car industry. Hybrid cars have a number of advantages over conventional cars. Compiled here are the primary advantages of the car that hold them at the top in the current era of the car industry. Reduced Emissions The primary advantage of hybrids is reduced pollution. These cars mainly run on electric charging and batteries, which in turn reduces the carbon dioxide emissions and lower the level of pollution. Majority of hybrid cars have dual engines where in the gasoline engines are mainly used to charge the electric engine. As the car majorly runs on electricity there is reduced emission. Economic Benefits One of the basic economic gains that hybrid cars offer is the expenditure saved on gas. These cars also help to conserve natural reserves that are falling short these days. Car manufacturers are still searching ways to reduce the minor amount of emissions reduced by hybrid cars. Another economic benefit that hybrid cars offer is the regenerative braking. Some tax credits are even available for hybrid cars owners. This adds to the Indian economic benefits. Convenience Hybrid cars are better powered than gasoline cars. They may be bit heavy on pocket during the initial purchase but on a further scale, these cars are more convenient to the pockets as they require less expenditure on gas. The continual gasoline price fluctuation has made these cars more convenient for both the car manufacturers and customers. Existence In the initial stage, hybrid cars may not be able to reduce the level of pollution at one shot but certainly the sustainability of these cars is much more than the conventional cars. The current generation may be bit fussy about spending such a huge amount on hybrid cars but the coming generation will possess these cars with pride and confidence. Hybrids will definitely exist for long. There are certain disadvantages of hybrid cars as well but for a small list of disadvantages no one can ever overlook the long term benefits of these high-end hybrid cars. After Honda, Tata Motors, Hyundai Motors and other car manufacturers are also in race to design and produce a competitive hybrid car. Article Source: http://www.ArticleBlast.com |
